ANC has entered its last phase of election work. It has been hard work for ANC structures, the Alliance partners and all those who love democracy and freedom throughout the province. Certainly, like all political task, it was not without challenges but the experience of the past successful five elections provided immense knowledge for the ANC to navigate through and conduct a credible campaign that secures victory.

 

President Zuma’s Campaign Programme in the Free State

SATURDAY, 05 APRIL 2014

PRESIDENT Zuma will be accompanied by PEC members of the Free State, when engaging the Free State leg of the programme and will be joined by the PEC members of Gauteng and NEC members of MKMV for the Gauteng Gala dinner.

NEC visits Free State this weekend

The National Executive Committee of the African National Congress, led by the National Officials, will these coming weekend 15th to 16th March 2014, visit the Free State as part of the ANC Election Campaign. The campaign will see various leaders of the ANC engaging with communities on the significant successes recorded together as part of the good story of 20 years of ANC delivery as well as our commitments to move South Africa as contained in our People's Manifesto. The ANC Free Sate welcomes the Candidate List as issued by national, comprising of candidates for Parliament and all nine Provincial Legislatures, a culmination of a thorough process of internal democracy which also included an intensive vetting process.

Election Date Confirmed

South Africans will vote in the 2014 general election on Wednesday, 7 May.

The announcement was made today by President Jacob Zuma.

This will be the fifth democratic elections, where all South Africans above the age of 18 will have an opportunity to elect their provincial and national leadership.

“We are very proud of the manner in which we adhere to constitutional and democratic processes in our country.  We hold national general elections without fail every five years, which demonstrates the maturing of our democracy,” said Zuma on Friday.

The Free State Department of Education Goes Beyond Expectations

African National Congress¹s 102nd birthday celebration was preceded by an outstanding performance by the matric class of 2013 with the Free State clinching top honours as the number 1 Provincial administration in education. It took courage, discipline, determination, as well as perseverance to achieve such unrivaled results.

Koppies Door-to-door

The ANC Free State PEC yesterday, 30th September 2013, continued to rollout its Electioneering Campaigning through one-on-one engagement with residents of Koppies, Ngwathe Local Municipality.

The door-to-door delegation, led by the ANC Free State Chairperson, Cde Ace Magashule, saw members of the PEC spread throughout the township in quest of continuing to have presence in the area as one of ANC's stronghold in the area.
