ANC WISHES HINDUS A BLESSED DIWALI/DEEPAVALI

The African National Congress in Parliament wishes Hindu communities in South Africa and across the world a blessed and happy Diwali/Deepavali as celebrated today, 18 October 2017.

Diwali/Deepavali is a five-day celebration known as the Festival of Lights which spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.

PREMIER’S CONFERMENT OF HONORARY PHD SIGNIFIES FREE STATE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT’S ALTRUISTIC COMMITMENT TO HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

In a humbling and historic moment, Free State’s industrious Premier, Hon. Ace 
Magashule, was on the 29th September 2017, conferred with an Honorary Doctorate 
(Doctor of Philosophy: Honoris Causa) by the Bahcesehir University (BAU), in Instanbul, 
Turkey. The Free State Provincial Government is of the view that the honour bestowed

Statement of the ANC Free State Special Extended PEC Meeting

The ANC in Free State today held a Special Extended Provincial Executive Committee (PEC) and extended the invitation to the five (5) Regional Executive Committees in the
province. The Special PEC received a report of the Special National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting which was held on 22 nd September 2017. The Report outlined the roadmap towards the 54 th ANC National Conference, which is scheduled to be held in December this year, with particular focus on the convening of Regional and Provincial Conferences.
